I have always enjoyed weddings and parties and loved planning and hosting them. During the years when I was a stay-at-home mom, I spent lots of time volunteering to do just that. As a volunteer member for The Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, I Co-Chaired their biggest event/fundraiser of the year, two years in a row where I had great success, raising the most the event had ever raised for this great cause. I was the VP in charge of event planning and fundraising for my daughter’s cheer board and held numerous PTA board positions in charge of event planning and fundraising. In every neighborhood I lived in, I was always asked to be the Social Chair on the HOA board, planning large events within a tight budget. The experience I gained in both planning and budgeting for these events was invaluable. I learned the role and I excelled and thrived while doing it, I knew that this was my calling and what I was meant to do.
In September of 2023, the love of my life Devin, asked me to marry him. I was beyond happy and excited to be getting married AND I was super excited about planning my wedding…I was in my element and having the time of my life. I had so much fun planning my own wedding and events, I knew I had to start doing it professionally. Even though I felt confident in the field, I decided to take the required courses to become a certified wedding and event planner so I could give my clients the best service possible.
I am now happily married and extremely proud of the work I have done planning weddings and events. I live in Frisco, Texas with my husband Devin and our two “fur babies…Odie and Lacy” and we are blessed to have four beautiful young adult children and two beautiful bonus daughters, CJ, Ashley, Owen, Lexi, Olivia, and Dayton who live nearby…life is good!
